Starfield DLC vs Exodus Launch At The Game Awards? #starfield

What’s up, captains? It’s Sister the Citizen, and in today’s video, I wanted to briefly talk about a video that dropped yesterday about the new space game Exodus and how it might affect Starfield in the very near future, which I will explain in a moment. But if you aren’t familiar with Exodus, it’s an upcoming and highly anticipated space adventure where you, the player, becomes the traveler. In this epic sci-fi action adventure, you’ll travel through the Centaur universe on dangerous missions to save an isolated awakened civilization from enslavement by celestials. Sounds very exciting though, right? It sounds exciting. Based on the Exodus novels by Peter F. Hamilton and the tabletop games along with former boware devs James Olan and Drew Carpashin mostly known for their role as lead designers for the first two Balders’s Gate games. The original Knights of the Old Republic and Dragon Age Origins with uh Carpin being the lead writer of both Mass Effect 1 and two also behind this project. Exodus is just being held as just that, the new Mass Effect space game we’ve all been waiting for. Now, I mostly cover Starfield on my channel, but I also will be covering Exodus from now until launch. I’ve always believed that games based on existing lore and a tabletop always seem to be uh they always seem to do better. and it’s a space game, so of course I’m going to play it. But if you’re a Starfield fan, the launch date might actually be problematic. Now, we’ve been waiting for a new DLC to drop since Shattered Space, and many have speculated Bethesda will shadow drop um a new DLC at the Game Awards because of some of the recent activity that’s been happening on Steam. However, Archetype Entertainment just dropped this video. Take a look. Yep, that’s right. the date of the uh now look, I don’t know if this is a launch or not for Exodus or if they’re just going to be announcing the launch date, but the date is the same as the Game Awards. Uh so, if Bethesda plans on releasing a new DLC for Starfield at the Game Awards as well, will it be overshadowed by Exodus? If Bethesda drops a DLC on the same day, will it be good enough that gamers already, you know, basically disgruntled with Bethesda as it is, will have Exodus to hold up side by side uh next to the new Starfield DLC? And if Exodus is a hit and the Starfield DLC isn’t, or even if the Starfield DLC is mediocre, will it be yet another setback for Starfield and Bethesda’s reputation, which let’s admit it, it’s easy to pile on uh right now, especially after the release of the Fallout 4 anniversary edition. Let’s just say if it does play out that both are dropped at the game awards, Starfield’s DLC better be out of this world if it’s going to compete with a new game made by the original Mass Effect devs that we remembered and loved. So, I’m interested to see how this plays out. Anyway, just wanted to make a quick video as a heads up for Starfield fans to know what’s possibly coming. I’m both excited for Exodus and I’m also a little bit nervous for Starfield as well. But let me know what you think in the comment section below. And uh make sure you subscribe and hit that notification button so you’ll never miss a video or a live stream. Thank you so much for watching and I’ll see you in the next one. Captains, peace.

Is Exodus releasing at the Game Awards? IF Bethesda is shadow dropping a DLC, will it be overshadowed by and compared to this new highly anticipated space game?? Let me know your thoughts. Will you be playing Exodus?

Exodus is an upcoming sci-fi action-adventure RPG developed by Archetype Entertainment, a studio founded by former BioWare developers. The game is set 40,000 years in the future, where humanity has fled Earth and is struggling to survive in a hostile galaxy. A central theme is time dilation, which causes time to pass differently for travelers than for those on their home planets, leading to significant consequences. The player will assume the role of a “Traveler” who must find and salvage ancient Celestial technology to help humanity survive
