STALKER 2 – BIG NEWS Reviews Surge, Update 1.7 New Details & DLC Updates

Stalkers’ Reviews are climbing. Update 1.7 is
hiding changes players are only now uncovering, new features are being teased
directly by the developers & a new interview discussing Stalker 2’s upcoming DLC. First, something almost nobody expected: Stalker
2’s Steam reviews have flipped from Mixed to Very Positive, with over 80% positive in the last 30
days, thousands of new reviews praising fixes and improvements. A couple of weeks ago, it was Mixed.
The game is improving, and I’m happy people are enjoying it. I am starting to see a shift toward
positivity in the comments section. I will have a couple of exciting mods to discuss on Friday, so
make sure you are subscribed and let’s carry on. Update 1.7 brought significant stability
improvements, but some of the most important changes weren’t listed anywhere. GSC have
confirmed a completely revamped mutant audio system: Mutants can now be heard from
over 100 meters away, sometimes even farther, making it much easier to detect danger before
it sees you. But players also reported chaotic burer and bloodsucker spawns, and GSC responded
directly: “Known spawn issue… investigating.” Players also pushed for clarity on features,
and GSC responded to nearly everything. Console mods? The team is currently fixing a mod
incompatibility issue. Once that’s solved, console mod updates will continue. Canted aiming
without needing night vision? The devs say the idea is on their watchlist, but they can’t promise
it yet. But with mods, you can do this, and I will show you a few soon. I will be ramping up
mod videos soon, now that most mods are being updated. And brand-new mutants? The official
answer was simply: “NDA territory. So for me, this is interesting. Hopefully, we see
new mutants added in the upcoming DLC. Now the part most of you are here for: the DLC.
Zakhar Bocharov revealed new details about the first Stalker 2 expansion, and it’s bigger than
expected. The DLC is a story-focused expansion, but not a small one. Zakhar describes it
as a “Quality Add-On” with more iconic gameplay moments, a deeper focus
on the story, memorable characters, and new and old mysteries of
the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. universe. He also said the DLC will include a “totally
fresh level of cutscene direction,” meaning a new cinematic approach for the series. As for
whether Skif will be playable, the response was “You’ll have to wait a bit longer for those
details.” So something unusual might be planned. The Zone is changing fast, reviews are rising,
updates are smoothing out the experience, new features are on the table, and
a central DLC building is behind the scenes. If you want more Stalker 2 news
the moment it drops, make sure to subscribe. New mod videos are coming soon, and if you missed
this week’s updates, they are on screen now.
