UNLOCK Christmas Weapons, FREE Reward, GOOCH Event, NEW Outfit/Mask, GTA5 2025 (GTA Online Update)
Yo, what is going on guys? Welcome back to another GTA 5 video. So, as I’m sure most of you guys are aware, near enough every single Christmas, Rockstar Games go ahead and release some new weapons into the game. Now, a few months ago, there was a bug in the game that I wasn’t even aware about, which basically led to players losing their Christmas weapons. It was actually triggered when you guys played certain heists by selecting a certain loadout during the heist. For some weird reason, when you would return back to free mode, it would have removed all of the Christmas weapons from your inventory. Now, I actually have two different characters that I mainly play with on GTA 5 online, of course, on two different platforms. And I also had all of these Christmas weapons unlocked for both characters. And I did notice that one of my characters also had these weapons removed from his inventory. Now, of course, since we’re right around the corner from brand new Christmas update, I thought it only made sense I went ahead and showed all of you guys how you could unlock these Christmas weapons early and completely free. Okay, so like I mentioned, a bunch of you guys may be like myself and you may have already unlocked some of these weapons only to come online today to notice that they have been removed from your character. Or like I said, maybe you guys just missed out completely on the Christmas event last year and you want to go ahead and unlock these weapons. I’m going to go ahead and show you guys so you can quickly go ahead and do so. Now, like I said at the start of the video, I found a very, very easy way, an old school method that I used to use back in the day to get the stun gun in order to get these weapons very, very easily and keep them in free roam. Now, before I get into how exactly you guys can save these weapons in your character, you can go ahead and use them in free roam and keep them forever. There’s two options you guys could take. You can go ahead and bookmark my job that I used down below in the description or go ahead and create your own one. So, if you guys are going to go ahead and create your own capture mode in order to unlock these weapons, all you have to do is make sure you’ve got it on content. Now, you guys should notice when you get to the point where you’ve got to select the actors. You should select cops and army. And you guys will notice you can now select the weapons they hold as the WM29 pistol along with the candy cane weapon. And you also want to make sure that you’ve got lock weapons on owned plus pickups. Now, once you guys have selected those two options, simply go ahead and quickly create your capture mode. And like I said, I will leave a link to the job that I created down below in the description if you guys just want to go ahead and use the exact same one that I’m using in this video. However, as soon as you guys spawn into the capture mode, you will need another friend to do this to like test the map out. So, if you guys don’t have that many other players that play GTA 5 online, feel free to go ahead and join my Discord server, which I will leave linked as a pinned comment down below. You should all be able to find another player very, very quickly over on my Discord server. However, as you guys can see on screen, once you guys spawn into the map, all you have to do is simply go ahead and kill the cops and then pick up the weapons that you selected him to hold, being the WM29 pistol along with the candy cane weapon. Now, as soon as you guys go ahead and pick the weapons off, as you guys can see on screen, me and my friend here decide to have a little one v one. This was fully legit, and I’m just showing you guys, if you ever try and come at me for 1 v one in GTA, you will always lose. However, once you guys have picked the weapons up, all you want to do is simply wait in the game for about 30 seconds or so, and then pull up your phone and simply quit the game. Now, you guys should notice upon quitting the game back into free roam, your character should now have unlocked. As easy as that. And you can even change session, turn off your console, come back on, and you guys will still have these weapons unlocked for your character. So, I have no idea why Rockstar Games made this so easy. Like I said, I was just testing this out a few days ago to see if it would work, and to my surprise, it did. So, like I said, whether you guys were one of the players that got affected by the bug that removed them from your inventory randomly, or maybe you’re just a player that, like I said, never got to jump online last Christmas to take part in these events to unlock these weapons. This should hopefully help all of you guys out straight away unlock both the candy cane and the WM29 pistol. Now, I am pretty confident that Rockstar Games will be returning all of the Christmas events from last year, just like the Halloween event this year. Rockstar Games pretty much reintroduced every single event from previous Halloween years. And I can’t see Rockstar Games holding off releasing events during the Christmas event that they previously released as they will know the number of players playing this Christmas will be much higher than last Christmas. It really doesn’t take a rocket scientist to work out that there is going to be a ton of returning old GTA 5 players will be wanting to play GTA again. And of course, a ton of new players that maybe just never picked up GTA 5, but are looking forward to the GTA 6 release. This is more than likely going to give those players an initiative to pick up GTA 5 in the last year before Rockstar Games go ahead and release GTA 6. And of course, we do have quite a few fun Christmas events that Rockstar Games do add into the game. They also added in a new event known as the Gu event, which is a character based off the Grinch in real life. As you guys can see on screen, a character very, very similar to the Grinch will randomly appear out of nowhere, knock you over, rob you, and then you have to chase him down. And when you guys chase him down and kill him, he will drop a gift or a present as you guys can see on screen. And when you guys go ahead and collect this present, it will unlock the Gucc mask. However, the most interesting part about this Gu event is that Rockstar Games returned this event the following year. And instead of unlocking the Gu Mask, by killing the Gucc outfit. So, as you guys can see on screen, here’s gameplay of last year’s Gucci event when I was wearing the Yeti outfit, which I’ve also made a video on going into full details about the upcoming Yeti event. So, if you do want more information on that, I’ll leave a link to that video down below in the comment section. However, as you guys can see on screen, it was the exact same situation. The gu will pop out of nowhere with a big green burst of smoke, attack you, you’ll drop to the floor, and then the guch will start running 100 miles an hour down the street. Now, bear in mind, the Gu will take a few bullets because I’m using an explosive sniper, which I do believe is the most powerful gun in the game. However, as you can see on screen, upon tracking him down and picking up my present, my character then unlocked the Gu outfit, which as you guys can see on screen is a very well-designed outfit. And there was actually a few different glitches that you can do with this outfit where you can shave the face. So, it does look very weird. And leave a comment down below.
