Hey, what is up heroes and welcome back to some more Digimon Story Time Stranger. The first DLC episode has dropped. Alternate Dimension. It looks so sick. All the new Digimon. We saw Kiyoko. Parallel one looked amazing. Cannot wait to jump right into it. So yeah, additional Digimon and episode pack available. Got the uh season pass, so I don’t have to worry about that. So I’m assuming I go speak to uh Mir to begin the quest. Oh, okay. Okay. So, the maintenance on the elevator at the back of the in between theater is now complete. So, we go in here. All right. So, a new tale about the truth of the world is waiting to unfold within. Proceed. Should it pique your interest? Oh, my interest is definitely peaked. Ooh, okay. So, there’s going to be three episodes in the DLC’s. So, is this the first one? Beyond this door lies a world of skew. Do not think you’re quite ready for it yet. Uh, okay. I have the DLC. So, is it a certain one? All right. Uh, let me just make sure. Ah, there we go. So, even if you got the uh season pass, you have to download the DLC. I thought it was just good to go with the update. So yeah, go to the PlayStation store, whatever, and just download the uh the DLC if you’ve got the season pass done. I’ve been expecting you. Oh, here we go. I’ve observed a rather strange space in a regular world cut from normal space time. This theater, too, is a strange dimension created between time and space, but the administrators have it under control. Left unchecked, and the entire world could be affected. So, I want you to investigate this irregularity. don’t want any of further people interfering with irregular spacetime since it could lead to greater ramifications. It’s called an Aashik backdoor. Several space-time disturbances have been used to connect this Aashik back door to various points in spacetime. Your mission is to defeat the Digimon responsible for creating and maintaining this Akashik back door. Meanwhile, I’ll use a feature on your device to provide you with updates as necessary. Good luck. Okay. So, uh I guess we’ll just go through door number one then. This place does look really cool. [Music] What did you do with our friends? Answer us, Parallelmon. Fade into the dust of spacetime. What’s going on? This isn’t good. Absorbance. Bang. [Music] So that was Parallelmon, the Digimon behind all of this. Thanks to some mutation, they’re able to travel through space time. They seem to build up the archic back door like a nest and use it to slip from one point in spaceime to another. They can travel to the past or the future, but in doing so, they destabilize the world. So, this Akashik back door has to be destroyed to prevent the collapse of the fundamental laws of reality. Good luck. All right, that sounds like it’s going to be a lot of fun. Blitz Greymon and Crest Guru. That’s my first time seeing it like apart from the trailer. They look really cool and obviously the uh the fusion DNA digolution looks sick with them. But uh All right. Station Juke often feels like a maze. All right. Almost there. There’s a door here. Okie go. What even are these bubble things? They look easy to pop, but are way tougher than they seem. What do you think? Wait, who are you exactly? Oh, I see. So, you’re after Parallelmon, too, huh? The beam of light that Digimon emits. That absorbent bang. I’d be careful of that if I were you. It can apparently bend the very fabric of spaceime. That’s what happened to me. I got caught in the beam and sent here. My name is Kiyoko Karemi, by the way. I guess we’ll have to deal with Parallelmon if we ever want to have any hope of returning to our world. It’s not like there’s anyone else here. What do you say we team up? To start, let’s investigate this area together. All right. Are those human beings trapped inside these bubble looking things? I tried calling out to them, but they didn’t respond. Could they be sleeping? There are so many of them. I imagine that there are people who are brought here from their own worlds by Parallelmon. Like to help them, but I don’t think we can break the bubbles open. What should we do? Let’s do some more investigating. Feels weird to just have Kiyoko here. Obviously not the same from Cyber Sleuth. Let’s investigate. You know, I think I recognize that outfit you’re wearing. Isn’t it from some anime? Don’t really know much about anime. The occult’s more up my alley. I could uh talk about it for days. If you like anime, the current state of the world must be hell for you. There’s barely any new anime these days. The countdown to the apocalypse has pretty much begun. Most people have already given up and are simply waiting to meet their doom. Some are even escaping from reality using their favorite shows and stuff from back when the world was still peaceful. Isn’t that why you’re cosplaying right now? From what I can tell, that woman comes from a different time in space than you do. This kind of thing often happens when an oachic back door is left unchecked. The distortions in spaceime will continue to grow until the world is no longer able to maintain its proper proper form. That’s why we have to take down Parallelmon. Beyond such doors, past, present, and future are jumbled chaotically and then joined, ignoring at physical distances. So, this isn’t necessarily the same Shinjjuku you’re familiar with. I was struggling with that game cuz I didn’t realize I accidentally put on hard mode and oh man, I was doing the grind and everything and just really saved the day for me. Such a good Digimon. I recommend that game as well if you haven’t played it. Dig the old Digimon games. I say old ones like oldish nowadays are um pretty affordable. Saw like the cyers collection for like two pound the other day. Insane. Yeah. Next next world order. It’s good game. A little bit different. It’s not turn-based combat. Like the combat I’m not the biggest lover of. It’s more the exploring and raising Digimon. Recruiting Digimon to the city is always fun. Now it’s my turn. Fully desire. Good game. It’s time. This is not good. Who is your friend there? Someone who was sent here by parallelmon just like you two. We need to work together so we can get back to our original world. I don’t know much about I say much, I don’t know anything about Parallelmon apart from obviously the trailer and this and what um Mir’s told us so far. This is the old Shinjjuku from a time when it was still peaceful. What do you mean by old and that it used to be peaceful? It was the incident you refer to as the Shinjuku Inferno that fueled Parallelmon’s rise to power. It led to numerous space-time disturbances at which parallel monet used to their advantage in order to grow stronger. I think this Kiyoko Kurmy uh comes from a future in which such disturbances are common place. A post Shinjuku Inferno world. I see. So somehow we’ve both come here from different timelines given Parallel Mon’s power. That’s a distinct possibility. I want to get back to my own world. There are people waiting for me there. Having a little trouble wrapping my head around all of this, but I know what you mean by wanting to go home. So, let’s all work together and find this Digimon they call Parallelon then. Feels weird having like Mir contact us on the phone. Great. But, uh, which way are we going? Just going to leave. Oh. Just keep going through all the doors till we get somewhere. Kind of reminds me of like Monsters Inc. when you go through the doors and end up in like different places. Kind of want to rewatch Monsters Inc. I haven’t seen in years. Give us back our friends. It seems we might have rushed to judgment. Perhaps it’s due to being separated from our partners, but we haven’t been thinking too rationally. Imprisoned in those bubbles are the humans who have been kidnapped by Paralommon. The bubbles are essentially digestive organs for Parallelon. that convert their contents into energy over time. It seems they go after people who have partnered Digimon. I imagine such humans are a potent source of power. So that’s what happened to your partners? They don’t seem to be in this room, but I believe they’re trapped in bubbles somewhere else. These bubbles can’t be easily broken. So we probably have to deal with Parallel Mom first if we’re going to rescue anyone. You’re willing to help us? Of course, we can’t just leave them like that. Besides, we want to take down Parallelmon just as much as you do. You know what they say, strength and numbers, right? Yes, I suppose. So, thank you. We are in your debt. We should hurry. I doubt I’d be very strong either if Anori wasn’t here right now. Our partners hold a special destiny. They work together with us, their partner Digimon, to protect the world. We’ve faced many crisises before, but never expected anything like this to ever happen. Okay. If anyone can like shed some light on like these two Digimon, like maybe they got partners in the anime. Kind of curious to know more about them. Always excited to learn more about new Digimon stuff. This must be Shinjuku when it was peaceful. Akashik back doors use space-time disturbances to pry open pathways to different points in time and space. This creates isolated fragments of spaceime called Aashik debris, which is what you’re looking at right now. This place. Ted seems like he can’t hear us. Did you just say dad? Yes. Countless fragments of spaceime lie buried beyond an Aashik back door. Apparently, some of that debris was taken from times and places related to you. While not very strong, there’s a force that draws beings back to the parts of spaceime that they were cut off from. As a side effect of that, you’re all basically acting like magnets, drawing specific bits of debris toward you. I suppose you could say that’s the mechanism at work behind the phenomena you’re seeing now. Honestly, I love this. just like going through different areas just getting some nice cut scenes. Pretty sick, man. [Music] Oh, I wonder what’s going to chase us. Maybe similar memories continue to arise in the future. Maybe because there is something causing them to do so. Okay. But yeah, that series will be coming on the channel soon, which I think it’s like I’ll be honest with you, I think it’s okay. Like um not not the game. The game was the game was good. It was fine, but just the series I just oh hit with so much copyright and just oh there was bits I just felt I wasn’t the best. It’s just like ah it’s okay, you know. But yeah, this dude. Okay. Need to reach Parallelmon before our partners are absorbed. Who is this? It kind of reminds me of I don’t I want to say like I don’t it it gives me Celtic guardian vibes from Yu-Gi-Oh. I can’t explain it. I think it’s like if if they were green I’ll be like yeah that’s Celtic guardian. I think it’s the hat and the cape there. Take you out. But don’t take him out. It’s just like my SP’s gone. It’s just like oh no. Oh yeah. Although there are Digimon who attack humans like once just now, we’re certainly not like that. Together with our partners, we’ve saved the world multiple times, even now, the powerful bond this has formed between us holds true. That’s right. And there are a lot of Digimon who get along well with humans. Yes, I suppose so. Although that definitely hasn’t been my experience of them. Okay. What next, man? Are you sure about this? Should you be sharing such confidential information with an outsider? I want you to come back, Captain. That’s former Captain. And I’m sorry. Your rehab is going well, right? It’s definitely my favorite Monster Taming game, that’s for sure. And so far, like I’m enjoying the DLC. So, they haven’t found a Korea either. That’s right, sir. I’m afraid we’ve lost many of our old comrades. Some were caught up in the explosion over the government building. Others died because of anomalous phenomena. There are also lots of people who are still unaccounted for. There’s one thing we can say for certain. Every one of them was doing all they could to accomplish their mission. So, I can’t just sit around doing nothing. Dr. Simmons and I are returning to Anomalous Affairs. The public safety office is barely even functional anymore. But somebody has to do something. Mr. Kurmy, no. Captain Karemmy. What are you going to do? [Music] [Applause] [Music] So, this is the world you live in. I can see why you hate Digimon so much. But there’s something I don’t understand. your eyes when you’re looking at your father. They’re so scary. In fact, they’re even scarier than when you’re looking at the Digimon you hate so much. They are pretty scary. Oh, there’s the Chaos Drum. Oh, I want to fight the Chaos Drummon. Let’s quickly go and grab that. Only battle that Chaos Drummon once at the very start of the game. Wow. Did all that grinding in the demo just to get a strong Digimon. And then bam. Was it worth it? No, it was not worth it. So, um yeah, if you’re playing uh this game for the first time, you’re watching this DLC, then what you doing? But uh yeah, if you’re playing for the first time, you can beat this. It just takes a lot of grinding and it’s just honestly it’s not worth it. I can’t remember the reward you get, but it’s I remember going like, “Oh, let’s beat it. See what I’m going to get. This is This is exciting. Goes like really strong level 60 at the very start of the game and good. Yeah, nothing but disappointment. All right, just got to take the elevator. This elevator, man. I went up and down this elevator so many times just to reset all the spawns. It’s crazy to be back here, though. Uh, which way am I going? Wow. Wow. It’s every time, man. Happy bullet showing. I feel like I’m seeing some of the Digimon that I didn’t see in the um my main play through. I don’t think I saw every Digimon. I’m not sure if like how many new Digimon are in the DLC. Like from the trailer, I only saw uh Parallelmon, Blitz Greymon, Press Gummon. Uh there was the F like the Omnimon fusion. Yes, look, I scan the first time seeing him. Okay, I’m sure new or not. It’s time winning knuckle. Or I might just missed them. But I did do like a pretty much like I did every side quest in the game. Explore every little bit. So I must have missed them somewhere or they’re new. But I feel like they’ve got to be new. I feel like I did a good job exploring everything, right? If anyone knows the list or anything like that, let me know cuz that would be nice to know. Hey, there’s the door. [Music] So, you’re really going crying, you know. I can’t believe you’re going back to such a dangerous place at a time like this. People have given up already. It’s only a matter of time now before the world ends. I heard he went to face Parallelmon during their rampage in Shinjuku. Then after that, he disappeared. He went to face Parallelmon. He sure is a brave man. You mean stupid? Humans don’t stand a chance against something like that. He probably forgot just how badly he was injured by a Digimon. Forgot how his daughter was crying by his side in the hospital. It makes me angry just thinking about it. I mean, it’s boozy. Wow. Well, you got to do something. I feel like either way, you’re just kind of screwed, aren’t you? [Music] Hey, look. Anyway, the black Digimon from earlier is one of your friends, right? Yeah. Something is off. His appearance is slightly different from the Digimon we know too.
