GTA Online NEW MANSIONS DLC INFO, Release Times, Mansions Prices, (GTA5 DLC Update 2025)
The GTA online mentions DLC is finally dropping tomorrow. And in this video, we will quickly go over small bits of new info like the exact release time and the prices of mentions. A safe house in the hills DLC is releasing on Wednesday, December 10, and it will have a global release time, meaning that it will be released for everyone at the exact same time. Here’s a helpful map that I made with the DLC release time for each time zone in the world. So, let’s say if you live in New York, which is Eastern Standard Time, it will release at 5:00 a.m. for you. And in Europe, for example, it will release at 11:00 a.m. Now, what’s interesting this time around is that there’s no preload for this DLC. Since March 2022, they have been doing preloads for every major update. A preload let you already download the DLC file 24 to 48 hours before it releases. That way, we already downloaded the biggest part of the update, and we won’t all have to download it at the same time, which may cause some server issues. However, the last two DLC’s leaked before it released because of these preloads. And I think that’s the reason they are not doing a preload for this DLC, especially because it’s a really big DLC. Mansions, Michael’s return, and a bunch more stuff that they don’t want to get spoiled. And to be honest, it’s more fun when most of the DLC is a big surprise. Yesterday, there was a tunable update. The mentioned teaser missions have been removed. So, all three new listings missions, which also means that you can’t unlock the discount anymore. However, everyone can get $500,000 for free by simply linking your Discord to your Rockstar Games account. Since we need a ton of money for this update, every bit of money helps. So, let’s talk about the mention prices. There has been a lot of discussion around this topic, and it’s not confirmed yet, but we have some new info that gives us a better idea. Rockstar is giving out 20 million, yes, $20 million to fan creators for their first luxury property purchase. So, this is only for Rockstar creators and fan channels, which is pretty insane. And did they kind of just reveal mention prices? My guess is that they fully upgraded mention is $20 million. But what if this is only sort of a discount with the actual price of mentions being 30 or 40 million? Let me know what you guys think. They also removed the in-game teasers at the two mention locations, you know, where you could see the construction sites. I’m guessing they removed it because they are now building the new mentions. A new GTA Plus event will start alongside the DLC. So, there was supposed to be a new GTA Plus month starting today, but it will start tomorrow instead. They will get the new FMJ MK5 for free with a week early access, and they will also unlock perks for mentions, plus a new option in the Finewood Club app on your phone to manage staff remotely for all businesses. That feature will probably allow us to source cargo for us, but instead of going to each business, you will be able to manage it through your phone. That was all the latest information before this update, but let’s finish the video with some things that we don’t know yet, and you guys need to leave a comment with your predictions for these unknowns. We don’t know the mention prices, if we are able to buy just one mansion or all three, how many pets we can own, whether pets have unique abilities or gameplay perks, how many mention layouts exist in total, the full scope of Michael’s involvement, and whether there will be long-term missions or weekly rotations. They love to hold back surprises until launch day. So, it’s very possible there are still big features we haven’t seen yet.
