Silkong’s DLC is genuinely better than your favorite games DLC. Because Team Cherry just announced free DLC for 2026 after the game has only been out for about 3 months. There are a million in one reasons why Team Cherry is some of the most goatated dev teams when it comes to pleasing fans, and Sea of Sorrows is just another one of them. By the looks of it, this DLC will have Hornet taking an underwater capsule to Faroon Bay, a scrapped area for the original game that will now be expanded upon and given its own story. Oh, and it will probably give us some lore on plasmium as it was apparently brought to Faroom from Salty Seas. I guess we just need to hope that Team Cherry doesn’t decide to make this a full game or we’ll be waiting another 6
