Cousin just got his first pc. Has a few hundred budget for setup upgrades. Help pls!
We’ve been looking for a desk to get him off this box but the one we got was the worst thing I’ve ever seen and we sent it back. A desk is the main priority rn, but as you can see other suggestions are welcome.
Desk mat instead of that little mousepad. Maybe something to get the PC of the desk but not on the floor. Also maybe look for a second hand office chair
Whatever you buy, if it has a particle board top, either replace it with something more sturdy or screw some metal reinforcement brackets along the edge where you’ll have your monitor stands.

I have one of [these](https://www.amazon.com/ErGear-Adjustable-Electric-Standing-Computer/dp/B0B41YH9B6/ref=sr_1_6) and once I replaced the top with something a bit more sturdy, it was perfect for this:
