Yes this part of the map feels very very complex and tons of stuff are hidden all over.
It has some annoying enemies but otherwise I didn’t mind it.
My only beef with that area is the quicksand pits. I’m looking up for ways to climb these buildings only to get one hit KO’d by the damn ground. Other than that I was fine with it.
I get what you mean, it’s not that this level is bad or anything, but the game would’ve really benefited from having more biome variety instead of yet another desert.
I’m pretty sure that point always comes up when people ask what they would like to see on the sequel.
The great desert has a bit of a difficulty spike and that part of the map in particular can be a bit hard to navigate at first.
You’ll want to explore it as much as you can though. A lot of side quests will get you there and you’ll find nanonsuits and other collectibles too.
When I arrived there I searched for as many base camps and phones as I could, so it would be easier to move around. That helped me a lot.
Not really, i had a lot of fun there, there was so much to explore, and discover. I enjoy all of that.
It’s just a matter of perspective. I think if you try to take it all in, you’ll get overwhelmed faster than if you see it as walking calmly and strolling just for the pleasure of seeing what’s beyond.
I don’t know if it exhausted me but some of the jump puzzles, particularly the one with the teeter totter, exhausted me and i just hit the orbital elevator without clearing it.
The only thing i wanted changed in the sequel is easier to navigate jump puzzles. Eve isn’t exactly Super Mario as far as in-air control goes lol
