Hi, I hope I'm not a bother.
A year ago I decided to get a 3DS family console and I bought a New 3DS XL.. i enjoyed it, but the only problem is that I feel it a little heavy and I don't like that the micro SD is inside the console and it's kind of annoying to open it to extract it, besides that in design I didn't always like it, I want to sell it and currently I like the New 2DS XL model and the Old 3DS, I have a normal 2DS and I love it, but I would like another one to be able to play with a friend I have, but I don't know which of these 2 to choose, since they are my favorite designs, I've seen some pros and cons of both versions and I'd love to ask here the different options, with which should I go?

I’d pick the 2ds it has more expansive library and they ditched the 3d gimmick halfway through anyway. That’s just me tho.
With a new 2DS xl you can play new 3DS exclusive games and they come in different designs and I think have have a matte surface. However the normal 3DS still has the 3D function if you want to use it and imo the design of the OG looks really cool and where I am from the OG 3DS is also the cheapest to find compared to all other 3DS systems with the exception of the normal 2DS
If you like bigger screens undoubtedly get the 2ds xl. But if you like the solid and glossy feel in a more compact console get the OG (I usually use my OG 3ds over my others esp when on the go)
