I made my first online account in 2004 through PS2 online. Since this was before the official PSN, PS2 games with online had their own individual servers where you created your own user name. So I was playing Killzone and Call of Duty 2: Big Red One regularly.
Officially, made a PSN account on the first slim PS3 in 2009. I was in college and saved up part of my financial aid money to buy it when it finally was discounted.
