The jump in fidelity is incredible when you have everything dialed in correctly. This screen grab doesn't do it justice, but I am constantly amazed with the 4K @ 60+ fps with VRR at 120+.
I didn't think that the difference would be that noticeable compared to a base PS5 on an older 4K TV. I was wrong and now I've seen the light!
I can only imagine how PS6 is going to look. This setup already makes me feel like I'm playing Helldivers 3.
Have you seen the PS5 Pro on a good OLED IRL?

I’m slowly becoming an Oled enthusiast. It’s hard to watch another type of screen now. I’ve been telling people to save their money on the side and upgraded to an Oled
OLED is the way.
The ink dark blacks are sensational
If you play a game like Horizon: Zero Dawn Remastered, or Forbidden West or Ghost of Tsushima and enable HGIG it looks phenomenal.
Or even playing games like Uncharted 4 or Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and being in a dark cave with the Torch just looks amazing with the contrast.
welcome brother and sister!
oled is the next upgrade in gaming. I use a 2020 LG 65 inch. with the pro, some games look even better
What game is this?
Same i was surprised when I booted up helldivers looks sooo much better on ps5 pro
For some strange reason I get better frames with VRR, ALLM and 120Hz off on the Pro. I have a LG G5 and I play it on vivid with smoothing at the highest settings and dynamic tone mapping on. When I put it on “game mode” I lose frames and it looks like I’m playing on 40 to 50fps with VRR and ALLM on which is very strange.
Idk what tv you have but you might want to give it a try.
Helldivers 2 is truly beautiful on a OLED Screen.
But I deactivate 120Hz mode on games with good HDR because the PS5 cant output 4k@120HZ with 4:4:4 and will use Yuv 4:2:2 instead.
This is because the ps5 does not support the full HDMI 2.1 bandwith, 4:2:2 can introduce more colour banding and offers an overall worse HDR experience.
Best console money can buy + best TV money can buy = best console gaming experience possible.
It’s math!
