How Many New Crests are in Silksong DLC? #silksong

The DLC is coming soon, and we want to know how many new Crests we’ll have. I thought about looking at Hollow Knight to get some idea based on what was done in the previous game, but unfortunately we don’t have the same system. Hollow Knight does not have a Crest system equivalent to Silksong.

In the first game, customization is free and there is no predefined “class” like the Crest system.

Perhaps the closest thing to Crests are the Notches, which limit how many Charms we can use on the Knight.

The only mention of “Crest” in Hollow Knight is the City Crest, which is just a “key” to open the gate to the City of Tears. It has no combat function.

In any case, it doesn’t matter. All we need to do is think a little. If Crests in Silksong are equivalent to new classes in an RPG game, we can conclude that it is something that requires a lot of attention, as it changes the entire way we play. Therefore, it is something complex that is not usually added frequently in games that use the class system, so we can estimate that we will see at most one new Crest throughout the Silksong DLCs.
