I've been playing Super Mario 3D Land since 2014 for a total of 2142 times launched on my 3DS XL. And just now did I beat S8-Crown with Luigi.
EDIT to note that I used a Statute Mario and a spare Super Leaf/Tanooki Mario. And that just about 1,5 years ago I had to replace the circle pad because the rubber wore off from the many times I played the 3DS in total.
