Silent Hill 2 Remake got me running and the soft part of the joy stick came off 🥀

    Anyone had this happen?

Should I take it off entirely or glue it back with superglue or smth

      “Came off.”

What the hell are you guys doing with these controllers, for God’s sake.

    2. Thumbsticks are kinda notorious for getting destroyed if you play games semi-normally. I can’t tell you the best way to fix it, but I prevent it by using thumb grips. Little covers to place on the thumbsticks. They protect your controller while giving you added grip to them. My controllers have never gone without grips ever since my ps4 thumbsticks saw wear and tear.

    3. peel off the soft part and get a cheap thumbgrip for Nintendo Switch. The smaller size fits the peeled now naked stick.

Protection is always the most important thing, if your hand skills do this I’d hate to be your mrs

You know how hard you have be gripping the controller for the thumb stick to have chunks coming out. I’d advise you on how to fix it but I the real issue lies somewhere else.

    6. Looks defective

People are saying what the hell did you do to your controller but you can very obviously see the texture on the sticks is not even remotely worn down. My guess is this controller hasn’t been used very much but is there a chance that it’s also old?

Could also be cold temperatures, was it sitting next to a window recently?

    7. Happened to me with controller I had not touched for a long time and came back to. I bought a new cover from aliexpress for super cheap, it is not exactly the same but once you play you don’t notice the difference and it’s super easy to replace.

    8. They sell replacements on Amazon. I just took one off an old ps4 controller and replaced it when this happened to me. I play a lot of nhl hockey and it can get intense.

dont super glue, same thing happened to my dualsense and i super glued it sucks now and i had to buy controlfreeks, remove it and replace it with new ones, i found them in amazon

    10. This happened to one of my controllers, it was probably because of the heat where I stored it destroying the rubber. I got some cheap replacement caps off eBay.
