3DS XL Scrolling Issue

I recently got out an old 3DS XL a friend of mine gave me a while back, and I was surprised to see this issue. As the video shows, selection always moves to the left, even when I’m not touching the stick/arrow pad. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix? Any help would be greatly appreciated 🙏
