Amazed by the 3DS. Used to think it was just a bigger and 3D DS Lite

I never had a DS growing up but my wife did, so last year I bought a DS Lite on eBay so we could play some games together. It’s been a lot of fun and has made me wish I had one growing up.

Then about two weeks ago, I decided to pick up this 3DS XL and wow it’s amazed me! I really knew nothing about the DS line and thought the 3DS was just larger, had the circle pad and a 3D effect.

I’m pretty amazed at the performance and graphics on a handheld of its size that’s 14 years old. It’s become my new go to for playing some quick games after work.

It’s no wonder this console has stayed so popular!
