Doubt with grip

Regarding comfort, I'm not entirely sure. It might be a slight improvement, but it feels too bulky for my small hands.
Has anyone with a good grip had trouble adapting to the device, or is it just me?
Or is there a specific way to hold it that I'm unaware of?
