I just watched the Tomodachi Life direct (late, I know) and oh my gosh, it's so much more inclusive than I was expecting.

I know Nintendo promised they'd add more after the 3DS one came out, but given it's been over a decade- with different people in charge, and the world in an entirely different state- I was genuinely worried they wouldn't keep their word. But they absolutely did!

The fact that dating preferences especially are detailed, and you can choose nothing, is fucking nuts. I know multiple aro/ace people who are over the moon about this, and I personally NEVER see that demographic represented in media. Like, literally, pretty much never. I certainly didn't expect it to show up in a game from a multi-million dollar corporation.

This rocks so hard. I don't care if these features are controversial, or people fight over woke-ness, or any of that shit. Me and my friends can properly represent ourselves in this game. That's so special to me.

    Much love :]

    1. Agreed.

Even though I never played the original Tomodachi Life, I think I might try this one just to send even just a small message that LGBT+ acceptance is a *GOOD* thing for games!

Just do what animal crossing does and have no genders specified. It should always be this way.
