I love my XBOX Series X. I have remote played on my iPad Mini it’s ok. I travel a lot for work and have a Series S I travel with to use at the hotel. I was originally thinking the new ROG Ally X but learned it’s a PC not really an Xbox and for what I want to use it for to stream play my games it would be a stupid purchase and not to mention $1,000 is ridiculous. But this looks to check all the boxes and the price tag seems reasonable. I was wondering if anyone had real world experience besides all these Tech YouTubers that just give initial impressions. Thank you for your input and advice.

    1. I grabbed one around Christmas time, so far use it for remote play of my series x and cloud gaming. Have to say battery life is great! Charge time is fantastic and all around couldn’t be happier for the cost.

    2. No, but don’t get it, it’s under powered.

Ayn Odin 2 portal, konkr pocket fit, etc. are the way to go. You lose nothing and gain possibilities and a better screen. Just sayin.

I had one until I sold it. It was actually a pretty solid device if you know what you’re getting into. Good battery life, really good screen, really comfortable, and it has USB C video output for when you need it.

My only problems were that some Android games just refused to detect the built in buttons, and it’s not really that strong outside streaming.

If you get it for 150 then you’re good, for 300 is too much.

I just went with one of those claw things for Xbox Controllers so I can stick my phone on it, much cheaper and works fine. I totally get wanting one of those though, no judgements just wanted to give some insight into a different option.

    5. It’s fine, but it’s several years old and doesn’t seem like it’s going to get any more major software updates.

In any case, it’s not worth $300. It’s been on sale for much less than that many times over the years.
