My 2DS XL is not modded and this cartridge is genuine as far as I know. This message occurs about every 15 minutes to an hour while playing and can happen anytime, anywhere in the game.
Edit: it turns out I bought a modded 2DS XL.

that looks like a luma3ds error. the console might have had cfw installed in the past. im not sure how to fix this exact issue but to check for cfw, hold select while turning the console on. if it has cfw it will boot into the luma3ds menu if it does not it will boot up like normal.
It’s possible you have one of the faulty carts from the bad print run. My first recommendation is a 2 part… 1st. remove and clean the cart pins with 91% iso alcohol let dry. 2nd uninstall and reinstall all data from the console. reinsert cart and try again.
