Publishers set prices (not Steam) on games, bundles, packages, collections, etc.
Sometimes they set the prices of games on discount and not the bundle.
Sometimes they discount a bundle not the games.
Sometimes it’s some weird mix of that.
This is why Steam, being the GOAT, has that little section to show you the difference so you can make an educated decision.
It should take most people 2 seconds to go “Oh shit, it’d be cheaper if I bought them individually instead of buying this package”
Unfortunately some people aren’t good at math so they come to some place like reddit and are like “huh?”
And here we are…

Evil package

I have a similar issue with prices, despite having purchased both parts of Original Sin.

It is cheaper to buy all these products individually than the edition that includes them all. Do not buy the Eternal edition if you want all that content

Basic math is not hard.
Would you rather buy a bundle for €35, or add each item to the cart individually for €24, really not hard to figure out which one the better deal.
FYI steam doesn’t set prices on these games it’s the devs/publisher that set the price.

Babe wake up, new confused user on the bundle prices just dropped. It’s becoming a weekly post lol
It’s because the bundle deals are set by the publisher, so the publisher has to manually set those.
