This may be common info but if you wanna use your own headphones with the PS5, check if your TV supports external audio over Bluetooth and it works great. Yeah it won’t have mic support but it’s a workaround

    1. Yesterday I found out there was no Bluetooth option, never considered using the TV instead. Thank you 🙂

There will be an audio delay if u do it this way. I know because i like to play my Ps3 sometimes and cant use my headphones with it. So I link my headphones to the TV. Sounds fine, but there is a delay.

    3. Ahhh I see you too have an LG TV lol

Yeah, this works wonders to either game or watch something while my wife is reading or doing work.

    4. Any earbuds/headphone with a USB-C dongle can be plugged in up front and be used that way. Not a fan of headphones, but I use earbuds and works great without delay. Soundcore P10 is what I personally use.

    5. I don’t know which LG model you have, but on my LG B4, when I connect Bluetooth headphones to my TV, it doesn’t allow me to turn on game mode. This means I can’t use low latency mode or VRR, so it’s a no-go.

    6. I‘ve always used my AirPods with the tv, when I didn’t wanna disturb my wife. Since it also works with any other console, it’s been a game changer ever since.

The latency here would be atrocious. Unplayable.

Creative makes USB-C transmitters for aptX LL, aptX Adaptive, and GMAP ULL.

    8. I’ve done this on my Sony Bravia 8 “II” but even with this brand new TV there’s still latency issues with BT audio which sucks. But hey it is an option if you want audio from PS5 without a wireless dongle.

You won’t get the proper mixing of the PS5 though so audio quality will suffer because you’re only getting tv audio output.
