It’s a solid game, and the SW world from the perspective of a small-time crook is top-notch and a very novel approach. The gameplay is kinda meh, but if the first sentence speaks to you, you should have a good time.
Personally, I’ve paid something like $15 for the base game on disc, and bought the story DLC on sale, which, I don’t think, was more than another $15. So $40 is a bit high for me, but the game bounced back in popularity recently, so they might not go that low for now.

You can rent the game on ps+, which is fair because there are very few games you want to own forever and ever until the rest of time. (I highly doubt the ultimate edition is on ps+)
You can buy the game here digitally and never have anything to ever pass on or sell ever in your life (but huuuuuge sloth plus you don’t ever need to take care of anything, it’s out of your hands).
You can buy the base game for $15 all day long because that is what the actual human marketplace has decided it’s worth. (actually it goes for much cheaper often, use [www.pricecharting.com](http://www.pricecharting.com) ) And retain the ability to sell the base game off to someone else for $15 all day long as well. Essentially paying nothing.
This game has played a hand in ubisoft falling apart.
I would never suggest relinquishing your ability to transfer the licenses that you buy to whoever you want, at whatever price you want, today or 30 years from now. Keep what you buy off someone else’s server and back into your own pocket.
And is the dlc ever worth it?? ehhh probably twice in my life time, starcraft brood wars and the witcher 3 blood and wine. Every other time pretending like the DLC is worth anything close to the game is hilarious FOMO, and if you’re MO by not buying the DLC then the game wasn’t worth it to begin with.
Not gonna get into dressing up dolly because it’s not worth it.

Absolutely! It’s 70% off!! If you are a star wars fan you will at least enjoy the world they’ve created. Its not a bad game but its definitely not a good game, but I love star wars so I really enjoyed it. But at this price, its definitely worth it – especially since that is the ultimate edition. Maybe the standard edition is even cheaper?
