I recently bought a damaged New Nintendo 3DS, and I currently have no way to test the console or power it on (unknown power condition / missing charger or battery issues).
While opening it, I noticed that the top screen ribbon cable has visible discoloration and marks, especially around the hinge area. I have no idea how the screen behaves and I’m unsure whether this screen is still usable.

Looks quite a bit scuffed, it may be rubbing on a part of the hinge… Is it rough or slightly prickly? If so, it probably is damaged
