So I recently swapped the battery of my 2DS XL, and it works fine, however the green LED indicator for battery charging just never turns off, and it gets a bit hot on that specific LED area.

Does anybody know what might be causing it, or how can I fix it?

I tried draining the battery completely and then charging it again for about 5 hours as I saw recommended here on Reddit, however that didn't fix the problem.

Also to note, I'm not sure if that might affect it, but I also swapped the top screen, and the full shell for after market ones.

    1. That is the Streetpass LED. Charging is at the bottom right (middle LED). As you should be recognizing when you plug in the charger.

    2. It seems like somehow, the power supply of the led has been shorted? (Basically, it’s constantly getting power instead of just occasionally). I haven’t ever done repairs on a 3ds/2ds, did you have to solder anything? If you did, you must’ve made a mistake (luckily just for the led, so the 2ds still works). If not, then I don’t know what it could be
