Hey guys, I see a lot of advice warning against the OG 3DS XL. I just want to provide some of my 2 cents in this post. My handheld is 14-15 years old at this point and it’s still in excellent condition.
Why? I don’t open the shell aggressively and ALWAYS from the center, I also only click it once.
Is there a flaw with the OG’s and would you be better off with the NEW 3DS XL? YES
Is it the end all be all and you shouldn’t buy the OG? If you follow my tips and take care of your stuff, don’t drop it, open it from center, and close from the center, you should be GOOD.
I mean yeah it’s a flaw but, you can mitigate it and still have an excellent console. It’s not “guaranteed” to crack like so many say in here, I have the proof on my desk right here.
