before I pay for a diagnostic fee, I was curious to ask more experienced users. the hinge is broken, the top screen no longer works, and the bottom screen hit a little damage. teetering on repairing this once since its the special pikachu edition, or just buying new

    1. You have to replace both screens and buy a new shell, then put everything with a lot of delicacy so you don’t fuck up and broke the cables (I have broken so many screens because of not being patient enough) mostly it will take a lot of mental if you do it yourself

    2. You will need to replace the bottom shell/hinge parts, buy a new screen, buy a new top screen, buy a new joystick and stick pad, and who knows what else. It seems you are also missing the ribbons in the hinge which connect the volume and 3d sliders as well as the camera to the main board. Imo totally not worth the effort and money. You could buy another 3ds instead.

    3. Bottom screen 15 bucks, plus 5 for a digitizer while youre on it, top screen I believe 20 at least, middle frame ~8, Circlepad 2, the hinge itself costs around 4.
(Sorry if conversion sucks, its a very rough estimate, look for yourself on ali)

Repairable for around 55 without labor.
If you cant DIY, buy a new one and sell this for parts imo.
