Hey guys ! I recently managed to pick up a new 3ds LL model from Japan for a real bargain. However once it arrived and I began using it everything else seems to be fine however it dies even with full bars in about 10 minutes or less lol. after opening the back I can see the battery looks a little swollen, did the flat surface test and it indeed easily spins on both sides. I can get a new battery In about 4 days but I’m wondering if the severity is bad enough where I should immediately discard the battery and not turn it on until I get a replacement.

As others have said dont mess with compromised batteries the game isn’t worth burning your house down. Thankfully they are very easy to replace.
Any swollen battery is a dangerous battery. You see one, dispose of it safely
