I finally got my holy grail: the New Nintendo 3DS XL SNES Edition.

To me, the signs of wear look legitimate, and the screws also appear to be new. How would you assess this? Is it original, or could it be a reshell?

    1. Looks too good to be a reshell

Chinese shells usually doesn’t print all necessary stuff about other cities like Frankfurt that you have, and they also trying avoid to print all “nintendo” logos to avoid legal proceedings (usually they don’t care, but most of chinese shell are coming w/o nintendo logos etc)

And by condition itself looks like console are really used (i mean scratches on top shell and circlepad and all this stuff) and usually chinese shells have cracked hinges to this “years of usage”

      TLDR: LGTM, dont worry

    2. That depends. Is it an NA or JP 3DS XL? The NA version has purple buttons so if it’s an NA then it’s a reshell. Not that it matters though, it’s still the best looking 3DS XL design.
