Every single 3ds in the CEX places in my city have now sold out of them. There were always a few in the store until this month.

Honestly it’s like this in the majority of places. 3DS has had a growing resurgence the past few years which it seems to have hit its peak in terms of pricing

I struggle to get even 100 euro for a first generation 3DS.

Buy a 2DS. They go for 70€, are much confier.
Only downside is their size.

The greatest tragedy to befall the British high street is the death of legit computer game shops like Game/Gamestation/EB etc. that also did trade-ins. The fact that they had new stock alongside on the shelves meant RRPs kept their second-hand prices relatively in-check. CeX has no such restrictions, so can just follow the daft trends online (exacerbated, like all things, by youtubers/speculators/grifters/scalpers) and slap whatever they want on the sticker price.

got one of these for £95 off ebay the other day. it unfortunately had press marks on the screen but what can you do.
