Xbox disc chipped in the middle. Will it work? I’m scared for my disc drive

A little piece of the inner ring of the disc was sticking up so I popped it off. There’s a tiny chunk missing from the bottom of the disc now but it’s not cracked anywhere else will this damage the disc drive?
