    1. Certainly not as bad as I thought pricing would be, but what’s the catch? Poor image scaling or filters? No additional features besides Home support? Capcom is out here celebrating their franchises with pretty solid collections, and GameFreak gives you a ROM and emulator.

Fuck, even a Let’s Go Switch 2 update would’ve been better.

    2. Would it not be on NSO because of Home?

And $20 for a 22 year old GBA game? Idk about that…

    3. Holy shit no fugly gray sidebars, no player icon, and FULL fullscreen. Cant believe Im saying this but nintendo should take some notes from TPC

    4. Yeah it’d be nice if these were included as part of NSO, but I’m not surprised. These are their flagship Pokémon games. Of course they would charge a premium for them instead of giving them away.

    5. Was really hoping for a remake this year, hope it really doesn’t just stop with this simple port. Also not that excited because I played Red just too many times already. Also 20€ for a GBA emulated version is once again peak Nintendo

    6. If you think $20 is too much, just wait for the inevitable physical release which will probably be $40-50 each or a double pack for $60-70

I probably won’t get this personally but. From now on whenever anyone asks “what pokemon game should i get first” we now have a definitive answer. Every other Pokémon game on Switch is 3 times as expensive as this but not as good.

Now will they make the shiny huntable deoxys event permanent like they did for the gs ball in crystal.

    8. Available in the EU eShop as well: 19.99 EUR, February 27.

There are separate versions for each language: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian.

    9. Easily should make a collection with all of the GB and GBA games in one set. Being $20 each just for 2 of them is rough. Unless trading is possible both offline local and online then thay would be a good read to check it out.

    10. People lamenting that 20 is too much have no idea what people are actually willing to pay for them.

I’ll pay for both in a heartbeat.

Hahahaha you all begged for standalone retro releases and now you get it and still complain.
