“There is nothing inserted into the Game Card slot”.

Bought a used game off eBay that the seller said they verified was working before shipping.

When I insert it into my New 3DS XL, it gives me the “There is nothing inserted into the Game Card slot.” message.

I had a different game from a different eBay seller and it was able to be read today, so I don’t think it’s an issue with the system.

Looking at the cart in the picture, it doesn’t seem like it’s dirty (right?) or like the pins are messed up (right?) so I’m not really sure why it won’t read.

I’m fairly inexperienced as a 3DS owner so anything that’s worked for anyone in situations like this or anything that I’m currently overlooking would be greatly appreciated.

Right now the plan is to just try cleaning it with isopropyl alcohol and praying that will fix it, but any other cleaning advice is welcome as well.
