As a little bonus (not that I massively care) it has dual IPS as well. I've compared it to my dual TN New 3DS XL and it's clear that they're not IPS – however I'll be playing the games face and during gameplay there's not a huge difference.
The plates are pristine and so is the rest of the console, including button and stick action. Overall I'm extremely happy with this and I have enough to last me a lifetime (only 2 to be exact!)
