    New SD card won’t work??



    So I got a refurbished 3ds from gamestop and it didnt have an sd card so I went and bought one and it won't recognize the card at all. I literally just wanna play Pokémon X 😭 I made sure the switch was up and its an infinitive sdhc 16gb card. Does anybody have any ideas

      It looks like the SD card has some sort of rule that dosent allow the DS to write new data onto it. It sounds like something with the card itself but this is all guessing so

      It would be helpful if you tells us some more about your SD card, take a picture of it! There isn’t enough information for a useful answer to your question.

      There are different memory sizes (128GB etc.), standards (SDHC etc.) and even a read-only switch on full-sized cards (which you would need for your original 3DS).
