    This guys won’t leave my ps5 alone, please help :/



    He does this every time I turn it on and nothing stops.

    Can't afford a buy a separate one for him and I'm worried about the life of my ps5 bcs of this.

    Any other cat owners? what do I do?

      It’s his now… But you should probably find a spot with more air flow for your Playstation anyways cause without enough airflow the insides can get pretty dusty pretty fast

      maybe keep it somewhere he can’t reach. also that placement is horrible, almost no space for air to go out

      that cat could easily break the hdmi connector stand or loose the soldered pins by accidently hitting it, i’d honestly change the location or ps5 since you cant do much about the cat behaviour

      I would put in a place he can’t access that still has good airflow. All that cat hair can severely shorten its life span

      My cat was the same until i put my ps5 vertical. I love my cat but afraid her fur not gonna make a good think for PS5’s cooling system

      You really don’t want any cat hair near a cooling fan or air intake, please believe me.

      If cat wants to be on some place, nothing will stop him /her from being there.

      You can buy dust filters for your console (search for “ps5 dust filter”, it is round mesh that you will attach using double sided tape), slap them onto intake of your PS5 fans and clean them regularly.

      Other than that? Just don’t use your console at all, so it won’t create that nicely warm place for him.

      Make sure you clean it very often if you don’t find a new spot for the little vato
      The ps5 will collect a lot of hair

      Beautiful cat, but you need to get him away from it politely

      I’m lucky that my cat never cared about such things. My OCD got so bad I couldn’t even let him into my gaming room at the end. He’d go behind my TV and I’d freak out. The dust and cat hair also worried me.

      I feel so bad about yelling when he did that. He was an amazing cat, and we were very close. My OCD just got the better of me.

      Get a heated blanket

      My cat tried to do this with my PC when we first got him. Listen I love my pets (dogs and a cat) but you gotta set boundaries. Every time he climbed up to my desk I’d get up and put him down and say no. I’d offer him to sit in my lap but never on the desk. It took repetition but he never goes there anymore (not that I know of at least 🤣).

      Put the console vertically somewhere. He will enjoy the warm air blowing. That was my solution. She sleeps where the warm air hits
