Presentation wise, this sequel looks great, maybe even better (first game already looked awesome).
Great new cast and a killer big mystery. This sequel feels more focused, with fewer little side mysteries sprinkled throughout like in the first game. Still a ton of story though.
The diving mini-game is surprisingly fun. It nails that "just one more dive!" thing, if you're into getting high scores. It's short so you can jump back to it anytime.
You can play this sequel first, then play the previous game, it's fine. Just a few mentions of the first game's events.
Less horror stuff overall. If you loved the first game mainly for the scary stuff, this one might feel lighter. Even so, it still has that foreboding atmosphere. Give the sequel a shot as the story is fantastic.
Hoping for a 3rd game!
