I feel like i have won the jackpot + My New 3DS badges setup

I made a short video of my New 3DS with badges on it and wanted to share it here.

I bought this New 3DS in January 2022 for €153.94. It was sold in good condition, and thankfully it still is. If it wasn’t for Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, I probably would’ve paid a lot more for a New 3DS in today’s market.

I set up the badges in one day out of boredom and ended up really liking how clean and organized it looks now. I’m actually curious how other people here have arranged their 3DS with badges. I’d love to see different setups.

Also… I somehow managed to score a Mugen 5000mAh battery…. For free!!

The story behind that is wild. I originally met the seller through a Reddit post I made. He happened to have one and was willing to sell it, so we decided to complete the transaction properly through eBay’s Global Shipping Program for protection. On the day it was supposed to be delivered, DHL suddenly marked it as “damage found” and it went into return limbo. Tracking showed “damaged” multiple times, i got refunded by ebay and not the seller ofcourse, and dhl nor pitney bowes could even tell me what was actually damaged. The seller never received it back either.

Then out of nowhere, it got relabeled, shipped again, and actually arrived at my address, even though both of us had already been refunded.

So yeah… that was unexpected.

All in all, I genuinely enjoy this little machine. I really miss devices like this. small, pocketable, durable, with great battery life and actual character. Modern devices are powerful, sure, but they don’t feel like this.

And yes, i do play these games and don't just stare at them and not play em.

Still my favorite pocketable handheld.
