My 2TB HHD broke after a good 8 years after a power outage in rest mode. Looking for a new one.

I already have an internal SSD installed into my ps5.

Looking for a HDD to directly play games from. Don't want to constantly move files around to play a game.

I'm okay if I can only play ps4 games since I already have a SSD.

    Appreciate any help.

    1. I have a Seagate 2TB drive that I’ve used since fat ps4 days and it still works 9 years later.

Sometimes it gives me trouble if I bump my desk or move it, but that’s probably because I’ve dropped it at least a few times lol.

Edit: it looks exactly like the “Last of Us” branded one in the picture, just without the logos.

    2. I use a western digital black game drive for mine, works great. Personally I don’t think the SSD version is worth it since you are sending all the data though a USB port anyway.
