I recently bought a used 3dsxl and it worked fine when i first opened it up but it died since the charger was faulty. I got a new unlicensed charger off of eBay and it's charging, but when i go to power it on the blue light lights up and then turns off, making a popping noise. I'm only able to power it on when the 3ds is charging otherwise it doesnt work. I took it to a repair guy and he said it was 165 dollars to replace the top screen so i didnt have it fixed because of the cost. When he handed me it back i turned the 3ds on and it worked fine, but i noticed it was dying extremely fast ( full bar, 20 mins, this happened before i brought it to him) so i suspect it could be the battery. Thoughts and how to fix this?
