So I wanted to play my 3Ds after a while of not touching it, however when I put it to charge the other day I noticed that the console would show a blue light, but the screen wouldn’t turn on, I’ve never modded it so I don’t believe it could be bricked of some sort. so I open it up fidget with it a little and follow this YouTube video. It managed to turn on but when I crack the hinge or sometimes just scroll in the menu it freezes and I have to hold down the power button to shut it off again, I’m able to play my games but it ends up just freezing over and over again and I have to repeat the process of holding down the power button.and then it goes back to the original problem of it just not wanting to turn on(blue light on) I’m not sure what it could be. Help?

Looks like hardware failure. You can try reseating the top and bottom screen ribbon cables just in case, but i think the console freezing when you crack your hinge is becauee its causing an ic to move out of place, rather than just loose ribbon cables.
If reseating ribbon cables doesnt work, [hack your console](https://3ds.hacks.guide) then do a [hardware test](https://wiki.hacks.guide/wiki/3DS:Hardware_test) and reply with the results.
