Hey guys, I've been wanting to try new games in the 3ds library, but I've had this console since I was in middle school, so I've covered all the basics and most games that conventionally make up a "Best 3DS Games" list (Mario, Zelda, Kirby, Pokémon, etc.). So I'm here asking for some underdogs and underrated games. I'm open to pretty much anything except graphic adventures such as Professor Layton or Ace attorney, other than that, I'm open to your suggestions.

I started playing Shin Megami Tensei 4 which is a jrpg similar to persona, its been a lot of fun
Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance is a great challenge! Fun combat if you’re into that, and some nintendogs adjacent side content that aids in the battle! Can be confusing storywise if you’re not caught up on the lore of Kingdom Hearts, but can be enjoyed regardless, i might be biased but the colors are just stunning, musics great, and it offers some real challenges in terms of boss fights and such!
Monster Hunter, Etrian Odyssey, Bravely Default. On the original DS you have even more 1st party games to check out. Mario 64 DS feels a lot better with the circle pad. 2 more Zelda’s as well. Not to mention VC titles for 3ds like the Zelda trilogy. Shin megami tensei strange journey is a hell of a game too. Dragon quest 4 – 9 are available as well
