Hey now, everyone always forgets that IGN took points off for having too many HMs too. Not having to deal with that should raise the score to at least a 7.9 this time.

This always bugged me because they’re right but worded it wrong. I love gen 3, its my second favorite, but the excess of water routes with no visual variety among them that are all at once instead of spread throughout the game really does bog down the pace, and i genuinely think post gym 7 and pre elite four in gen 3 is awful because of it. The fact that we have Waterfall, Dive, and Surf is a bit much.
