What is wrong with my 2DS and how can I fix it (if possible) ?

Hello ! Today I found my old 2DS at my cousin’s house and it seemed fine but sadly, when I opened it, the screen inside it (?) is broken (2nd picture).

I have the sound from the homescreen so I know it is in fact working but I do not have any visual guide to what is actually happening and I don’t really know if it’s fixable, and if it is, how can I do it.
