I “modded” my Nintendo 3DS Thumbsticks.

I raised the left Thumbstick because it felt too low for me, and I started having problems during long gaming sessions. I looked for solutions online, but I couldn’t find anything that would properly increase the height of the stick. So I decided to come up with my own fix and raise the joystick myself.

What I did was stick a Small selfadhesive furniture pad on top of the Joystick. You know those little felt or rubber pads you normally put under chair legs or other furniture to prevent scratches on the floor? I basically used one of those as a button extension and attached it to the joystick.

Of course, most people would see it as a downgrade since you can’t fully close the 3DS anymore with the pad attached. But for me, the real downgrade was how uncomfortable it felt to control without the extra height. This way, it honestly plays a thousand times better.
