I recently found my old 3DS I had when I was a kid that my dad gave me. It had stopped working maybe around a decade ago (I’m not too sure, around that time) and I haven’t touched it since.

I tried turning it on and nothing worked. Then I tried charging it with both the original AC adapter and the charging cradle, but to no avail. When charging, the orange battery light would light up for a few seconds, then turn off.

I opened the back panel of the 3DS, and I noticed that the battery was extremely swelled (refer to image #4). I'm not sure how long it had been like that, but I took it out.

    My questions are:

1.) Is it the battery that's causing the 3DS to not turn on? Are there other possible factors along with the battery?

2.) Since I live in Hawaii, there aren't a lot of places that ship the battery (CTR-003 if I'm right) here. Where is a reputable place to buy a good quality replacement battery that also ships to Hawaii?
