I almost kept this until I plugged it into my computer and checked the model number. Also, some of the edges are a little rougher when compared to my genuine dualsense controllers.
I watched videos where most of the fakes have black buttons instead of grey, this one has the color down. Even the color above the start button is close.

It looks weird to be honest
Mutlple model numbers out there for controllers with a handful of different serial formats. Sony has them all made in China so there is a chance you got a different lot if everything feels legit. You can always check the serial by initiating an RMA on the controller with its serial and don’t finish the process. If the serial is valid it should be under warranty and that will show up. I have RMAed 2 controllers within the 1 year window.
Here’s the back. All the info matched my green chroma controller, which is wild. The texture is subtle though. I haven’t felt a genuine 30th anniversary controller but from videos the texture isn’t as deep in this fake one

What are you supposed to do when you can’t buy a ‘genuine’ product from a real store?
I’d kind of get it if was from Amazon but a retail place like Target should be 100% safe to get a real item.
What color is the headphone jack
are these using shells from AliExpress? Because those are painted on top of the plastic and prone to fade away with time, just like my hairline =/
