Now that I have the Steam Deck, I have stopped mobile gaming altogether.
I’d rather just pack up the beast when I travel. My Kishi just collects dust nowadays.

Valve runs low/out of stock of Steam Decks.
Valve pushes back new Steam Hardware.
Global memory shortage/pricing going on (the reason behind those first two points).
Perfect time for them to develop and manufacturer a smart phone.
Also this has been suggested many times. While yes Steam/Valve is great, they don’t need to try to be everything.
Majority of people who get phones do it for phone stuff, not for gaming. Valve has been focused on PC gaming and making that better. How does having to manufacturer and build a phone that does all that phone stuff make sense?
