After 17 long years as a die-hard Xbox fan since 2009; I've finally jumped ship towards Playstation.

I've changed consoles due to all the business practices Microsoft has been making the past couple of years. After a while; it became evermore difficult by the day to support their decisions. And it got to the point where I've just given up. It's almost like seeing your dog's life slowly fading away, day-by-day and gaslighting yourself that "it'll all be okay" not facing the fact that it'd be better if you'd just moved on.

Honestly playing a Playstation feels… Weird… I'm still trying to get used to the 'X' button being on the bottom set of four button pads. Rather than being on the right-side on Xbox controllers. After 17-years of Xbox controller muscle memory; it becomes a bit of a pain for me, but I'll get used to it. 😅

Same thing can be said with the sticks, I'm not used to both of them being symmetrical with the controller, whereas Xbox ones are asymmetrical with the d-pad located below the left-stick.

I could go on; like the bumpers being labelled as as 1s, triggers being labelled as 2s, and thumbsticks being labelled as 3s.

I honestly feel stupid that I didn't make the decision to move to Playstation earlier. But I was too stubborn and Naïve to make the decision for myself.

I don't want to throw any shade at Microsoft & Xbox, I can't deny that I've had fond memories with their consoles & games. If anything I'm just concerned & worried about their future in the gaming industry.

Besides that; the best part about my experience so far with Playstation for a week; I've never had this much fun gaming in a very long time. I almost want to say I feel like a kid again. ♥️

X is on the left on Xbox. You’d think after 17 years someone would know that.
