3DS region plates

I saw a “new” 3ds online for sale, but I can’t tell if the plates are repro because I cant tell what region the 3ds is from because shouldn’t there be the little Nom or EU or other regulatory symbols on the bottom to tell where its from. Does anyone know what region it is or if its a fake? Thanks
